Frequently Asked Questions.

We don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera, does this matter?

My style is very relaxed and natural, there won’t be any awkward posing or standing around for hours on end. The aim is to capture your day as it unfolds in an unobtrusive manner.

What if it rains on the wedding day?

I always recommend that you check your venue has indoor space for pictures. It’s also wise to take umbrellas and a change of shoes if you’re going to be walking on grass. I always keep an eye on the weather, if I see a window of sunshine during your meal I will come and find you.

Are you insured?

Yes I am fully insured with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.

Do you post our photos on social media/your website?

Unless we have agreed otherwise I do share some images online. As with most industries posting on social media is great way to engage with your clients & share what you’ve been up to. It’s also gives potential clients a glimpse into your style.

Who owns the copyright to your images?

In UK law, copyright belongs to the person who took the photographs. Although I retain the copyright, I will allow you to use your images for printing and sharing purposes as per my contract with you. I would much rather you have all your images to treasure forever.

Are your images edited?

A lot of time, love and devotion goes into the editing of your images. I have my own unique style of editing which I apply to all my shoots, whether it be weddings, portraits or commercial. I will supply you with a mixture of colour and black and white images.

Do you retain my images?

I keep your images for 6 months after they were taken. I strongly advise that when you receive your images from me you make several backups, and where possible on more than one device. I cannot be held liable for any lost data after you have received your images.
